About Me

I grew up on the East Coast in an Italian-American family and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing. It was during this time that I realized I needed help understanding a chronic sense feeling stuck and the difficulties I experienced in my relationships. My therapy journey eventually led me to a men’s process group where I experienced the transformative power of this work and discovered my desire to be a clinician.

Having been a client, I know what it’s like to struggle and to be unsure of yourself and your relationships.  I also know what it’s like to grow, heal, and benefit from this work, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to help my clients realize the goals they set for themselves in therapy.

I have experience working with diverse communities and individuals throughout Los Angeles and, thanks to telehealth, California. I’ve worked in a family service agency, a private practice, and a high school care center. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but especially teens, pre-teens, and adults.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University of Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University.  In my former life, I was a McDonald’s cashier and line cook, a legal assistant, a filmmaker, and a production assistant and editor for the National Basketball Association. I believe my experience in these different fields enhances my ability to connect with individuals from varying walks of life.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, playing soccer, watching my Eagles, and learning the seemingly endless ropes of fatherhood.
